Mike Orkin - Snoop Data Founder and CEO
Dr. Mike Orkin is a statistics professor and nationally known authority on odds and gambling games. Orkin has appeared on dozens of TV and radio shows, including NBC's Dateline and ABC's World News Tonight. He is the author of several books, including "What are the Odds? Chance In Everyday Life" (W. H. Freeman and Co., 2000) and "Can You Win? The Real Odds for Casino Gambling, Sports Betting, and Lotteries" (W.H. Freeman and Co., 1991). He has consulted for clients in both the government and private sector, has published numerous research papers on mathematical game theory, and has developed software that finds trends and patterns in sports data. Orkin received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
